For this first research task for part 4, I have been asked to research online forums, social networks and other information sources from the internet. I will list the online social networks that connect with my work or present content that I’m interested in.

https://discord.com/

what do i use for research:

what do i use to start my journey with the illustration industry:

https://www.linkedin.com/

Question:

What did you find and how does this inform your understanding of illustration?

Illustration is diverse and the way you can find it is also, there are so many social media platforms where you can display your work.

I currently use LinkedIn for admin work and my CV but I also subscribe to many different animation/illustration companies like BlinkInk (based in London) and Bardel Entertainment (based in Canada). I subscribed to these companies in order to see what type of information they are interested in and what they like in a portfolio so I can use this in the future when I hopefully apply to companies like these. I also research what types of job roles they offer.
